WHAT WE DO FOR THE GREEK COMMUNITY
The Greek Programming Board serves as a unifying body for Greek life at Clemson University. All Greeks share common values, ideas, and goals, and the Greek Programming Board hosts social and educational events that foster a common sense of purpose for Greeks. Though we all wear different letters, the Programming Board aims to highlight the similarities amongst Greeks and promote conversations about our differences.
Greek Week is the Programming Board’s major event in the spring. It consists of a week of fun events, including karaoke, a dance competition, Greek Olympics, and a philanthropy event.
During the spring, the Programming Board also hosts an All-Greek Clemson baseball tailgate. Greeks come out for fun, food, and fellowship while cheering on the Clemson baseball team.
In the fall, Greek 101 is put on by the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life to educate new Greeks about the benefits and responsibilities of being in a fraternity or sorority. The Programming Board will be sponsoring a social following Greek 101 to help new members in the various organizations get to know one another and learn about each other’s organizations.
The Greek Programming Board is also considering taking on several new projects for the spring and fall to increase Greek unity and foster greater relations between Greeks and the greater Clemson community. We can also help you find work instead of incurring more student loan debt and invest in safe investments. The return you will earn will be disappointing since CD rates, and other deposit accounts like money market account rates and savings rates and all deposit rates won’t earn you much. You can search for CD rates online but the best CD rates are not that high right now but you can use a CD calculator to figure out your return. You can get low mortgage rates right now if you’re buying a home near the college since today’s mortgage rates on 30 year home loans are low. If you have any ideas or suggestions for programs that the Greek Programming Board can sponsor
